Kellie has been involved with Alliance for Choice since the early 2000's and has worked with the Labour Party as the UK government, to try and introduce the 1967 Abortion Act to Northern Ireland before devolution of criminal justice powers in 2008. Kellie has been involved in the women's movement for more than twenty years in both the North and South of Ireland. Kellie has also volunteered as a clinic escort for women accessing services at Marie Stopes Belfast.
Emma Campbell, Co-Chair
Emma has been part of Alliance for Choice since 2010, when she returned to Belfast from London. Emma has worked to bring the abortion conversation into the mainstream in Northern Ireland through creative and social media projects, as well as through public engagement. Emma has also recruited for and volunteered as a clinic escort for women accessing services at Marie Stopes Belfast.
Naomi Connor, Activist
Naomi has been a Trade Union activist in Northern Ireland for many years. She has also volunteered as a clinic escort for women accessing services at Marie Stopes Belfast. Naomi has delivered workshops and training on abortion in NI to members of Trade Unions across the province, as well as to the Women's Council of the Isles and NICICTU. As well as her Trade Union work, Naomi has organised events, marches and rallies ensuring abortion rights remains in the public eye.
Emma Gallen, Outreach
Emma is in charge of our outreach stalls which happen weekly in Belfast and occasionally further afield. Emma has been involved with Alliance for Choice for a number of years and recruited many new faces to the street activism team. Emma has also been part of the organising team for AFC's role in marches and rallies.
Saoirsé keeps our ship running smoothly with her organisational skills and her general enthusiasm for abortion rights. Saoirsé is also currently an escort for Marie Stopes as well as keeping our supporters informed of our work on a regular basis.
As well as being involved as an activist with Alliance for Choice for many years, Natalie is a website and social media whizz. Natalie has been a core part of the team that has keep AFC in the forefront of the struggle for reproductive rights in Northern Ireland
